wax casting and precious metal clay

A Wax Casting and Precious Metal Clay is offered throughout the year with Janet Ross as the instructor. It is open to 8 students and the Beginner Silversmithing course is a prerequisite. The course runs for four Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm. Three of the classes are used to create your pieces in wax and the final class is used to finish your cast pieces.
We do not cast the pieces ourselves. They are sent to a casting house in Ottawa.
The course fee is $60 which includes the wax used. There are additional fees for the silver and casting cost depending on how many pieces you have and the amount of silver used.
