Michelle is one of the Club's youngest silversmithing instructors. She considers herself an eager and quick learning apprentice and likes to fiddle with tiny things. Although she much prefers working with silver, you'll occasionally find her dabbling with copper and lapidary work. One of her favourite fascinations about silversmithing is how there can be multiple paths, tools and techniques to get to the same end result. Michelle has a meticulous approach with precision work and a great respect for the blade and flame. She has recently begun exploring inlays, Russian filigree, enameling and cloissone. She teaches the beginner silversmithing and puzzle ring courses. Michelle would like to thank all of the wonderful, generous and patient Club instructors who inspire, support and share their wisdom with her.
