Geri joined the Kingston Lapidary & Mineral Club where she began learning the skills involved in silversmithing through a variety of classes at both the beginner and intermediate levels, and through her peers by attending open shops.  This was halted with the Covid 19 pandemic and the need for closure of many Club activities.  However when the Club reopened, Geri attended refresher classes for a second time and added many new skills from additional courses.  Geri's jewelry includes beach glass in bezel settings (necklace, bracelet or earrings), bracelets, various ring styles and upcycling silver jewelry.  She now teaches the beginner silversmithing course when her schedule permits.
